Payment
TakeMeOverland accepts major credit cards through our online booking system. We ask for 50% of the total amount upon booking, with the remaining 50% due no later than 14 days before departure.
A refundable damage deposit of $1500 will be applied to your payment method the day before pickup. This amount will be returned within seven days after drop-off, provided that the camper is in excellent condition, fuel is full, and no other terms of our Rental Agreement have been broken.

Damage
Renters are accountable for ANY damage to the vehicle, including exterior, tires, interior, and contents, while the vehicle is in their possession and before it is checked in by us upon return.
It is the Renter’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect the campervan before departure from our premises for any damage not documented on the Vehicle Condition Report, which is provided in the Camper, and to notify us via email with supporting imagery. Additionally, we highly recommend that Renters take detailed photos or videos of the camper when dropping it off at our premises.
The Renter gives TakeMeOverland authorization to charge the payment card on file for the full cost of damages, along with any applicable administration and potential loss of revenue fees.
Cancellations and Rebooking
We recognize that plans can change or unforeseen emergencies may arise. We provide these standards cancelation/refund policies.
Cancellation and Rebooking Policy:
- 30 or more days before your pick-up date and time = 100% refund or $0 rescheduling fee
- 29 days – 15 days before your pick-up date and time = 50% refund or 10% rescheduling fee
- Within 14-0 days before your pick-up date and time or no show on the day of your trip = no refund, cannot reschedule

Accidents and Breakdowns
In the event of an accident, please refer to your Rental Agreement and notify us as soon as possible.
For emergencies, dial 9-1-1 immediately. If an accident occurs with potential damage exceeding $2,000, a police report from the relevant jurisdiction's office is necessary, and you must inform TakeMeOverland. In the case of a breakdown or requiring a tow, please contact roadside assistance. Should there be a mechanical issue with an internal component of the Camper, we will do our best to repair the problem via phone tech support and get you on your way as quickly as possible. If this unlikely event happens to be within a 200 km radius of our locations, we may dispatch a technician for on-site repair. In the event of a significant breakdown, an alternate camper may be provided if available. The renter is liable for any incidental expenses incurred during a breakdown.
Pick Up and Drop Off
Pick up is any time after 15:00 local time. Early pick up is available for an additional fee as an add-on. Drop off is on or before 11:00 on your last rental day. There is a $100/hr late fee for rentals not returned on time if not previously agreed upon.

Kilometre Allowance
All rentals include 200 KM/paid night calculated cumulatively over the course of your trip. If you go over this amount you will be charged $0.45/KM.
Fines and Tolls
Renters are responsible for all citations, fines, and tolls incurred during the period the vehicle is in their possession.
If TakeMeOverland receives a citation after the rental, you authorize us to pay the ticket amount on your behalf. TakeMeOverland is then authorized to charge the credit card on file the fine amount plus a $100 service fee as per our Rental Agreement.
